I'm a natural redhead in my 50's. My hair has faded over the years & I've been using color depositing shampoos & conditioners with great success. For my hair, Gem Lites was disappointing, it maybe only provided a slight hint of color. I'd certainly recommend trying it, maybe it will work with your hair. This shampoo is simply amazing. You can use it to fill, color and tone! The more washes you do consecutively the darker and vibrant the color will get. I do advise using the Bonditioner in conjunction with the shampoos, otherwise your hair will feel very dry and will tangle easily.
