I love this brush - I have tried other similar bushes, but this 3/4 inch brush with metal under the bristles really works super well on short, fine hair with my blow dryer. I put a mall amount of mousse on my hair and then blow dry and curl it. The bristles do not get caught on my hair and the metal heats enough to curl my very short hair. I will use the item, however I was looking for a 3/4 inch SOFT BRUSH curling iron for short hair. This item IS 3/4" but has a long hard plastic brush which scrapes my scalp when I use it and I cannot wrap the curler tight to get a decent curl.
