Being overly cautious I had a moorocanoil salon apply this. It does have keratin to be sure to leave on only the recommended # of minutes and no longer. I have natural gray hair, and I had a few color lines from previous demi-permanent colorings like SHADES. The Platinum was excellent, adding shine and also blending those color lines to un-noticeable These products last. They may lessen the first few washings, but it stays in the hair for several months. It is something to consider when using pink/blue. They are beautiful, and will last. I plan on trying the rose gold. A purchase will last a long time considering it isn't necessary to reuse frequently, and will last as a color deposit for many washes. My salon said they would have zero concern of me doing this at home on myself, if I adhered to the packaging recommended time of the mask on my hair. - Anonymous
