System 1 Scalp + Hair Conditioner for Natural/Untreated Hair

So, after doing some research and taking the Nioxin tests, I went with the System 1 that was what was recommended. I have curly hair of medium texture. It's not dyed and it's not thinning. But, I wanted something that would hopefully help my hair grow and help strengthen it. Moisture is still a concern because 1) it's curly and 2) I live in tropics so heat and sun will dry it out. Turns out, Nioxin is probably not the best way to go for my hair. On a daily basis, I am having to use coconut oil if I don't use the deep repair masque. So, the Masque is great though extremely expensive. If not for the masque, I don't think I'd continue using the other Nioxin products I purchased (that would be a HUGE waste of funds) I can't vouch for the scalp treatment part of it...but if if you need moisture for your hair, then I don't suggest using this. Hate to mark a product down for something like hair type, but perhaps they should expand their test a little bit on hair types. Perhaps I got the wrong system or it's just not meant for curly hair that needs moisture... Wish I had gone with the smaller bottles, right now I feel like I have to choose between my hair health or the amount of money I spent on the System 1 products. I ordered new conditioner and will try alternating between the two and see if that helps.
