    I've been on the lookout for a great hair product that will help lift my thinning hair. I recently got the opportunity to try a new product that I have never heard of. Rusk Maximum Volume and Control Mousse is a designer collection that is sold in professional salons. This mousse gives my hair great volume and body without leaving it dry and hard like other mousse’s that I have tried. This product actually lifts my hair and still manages to keep it feeling soft like there’s no product added. I love having that natural feeling and not feeling all the products in my hair leaving it stiff and dry. The foam is light and highly concentrated so a little goes a long way. This mousse contains hydrolyzed silk and honey to smooth, strengthen and moisturize hair while adding volume, body and shine as you style. The hydrolyzed silk forms a crystalline protective barrier on strands of hair which helps to improve hair’s elasticity, resiliency, and increases shine. Honey has many great benefits for your hair. It helps to prevent the loss of moisture from your scalp and improves the health of hair follicles which is responsible for hair growth. Honey also comprise of antibacterial and antiseptic qualities so this will prevent your scalp from infections or psoriasis and keeps your scalp clean and bacteria free.     Mousse Maximum Volume + Control
    I am really happy that I got the opportunity to try Rusk Mousse. This is a nice product. I used it as soon as it arrived. I washed and conditioned my hair then towel dried and applied a small amount to the palm of my hand. The texture and feel of this mousse is slightly different from other mousses that I have used in the past. It is a bit less foamy and not quite as thick. This is actually a good thing. It was much easier to spread through my hair, and went in very smoothly. It soaked in quickly and evenly through the strands of my hair. I proceeded to blow dry and style as usual. The results were great. This really left my hair looking nice. The first thing I noticed about the product right off the bat is the scent. This has a wonderful long lasting very fresh and clean scent. I absolutely love the smell of it. If you have sensitivity to fragrances you may not enjoy this product. I personally think it's fabulous. I also noticed after using the product and styling my hair that it did help maintain the hold and look of the style I had. It kept my wild hair tamed into place beautifully. On a 5 point scale I would definitely give it 5 stars. It does work. It does provide maximum hold. And it does keep my hair settled down and free of hairs sticking out where I don't want them. Very awesome. I received this product to try in exchange for an honest product review, all opinions expressed are truly my own.

    Mousse Maximum Volume + Control
    Rusk Mousse is a new product to me. For years I have used a product from the salon that runs me $19.00 USD a can. I went through one about every 3 weeks and it was just getting to be expensive because my salon was over an hour away. I was offered the chance to try this mousse. It was sent to me and I used it the following morning. It smells pretty good. That is something I look for in products I use on my hair so it passed that requirement. It came out of the can very nicely and pouffed up just the right amount that you would expect from a quality mousse. I applied it into my hair like any other day. Now, I have very long hair, but it lacks volume. It's always flat. I blowed dried my hair after putting this in and I can't believe the results. Just beautiful. I am impressed with this product. It performs better than my salon brand! Plus, it's a bigger can!!
