    I have waist long super thick high density 2b hair that tangles very easily and has lots of frizz. I live in a humid climate too. I bought this product as well as the shampoo and conditioner. I'm in love! Finally I found a product line that actually gets my frizz under control. I instantly noticed a difference after the first time using this. After just one week, my hair was 70% less frizzy, more defined waves, soft, shiny, manageable, and had so much more volume! Since my hair is so long and thick, it's real heavy.     I've been using Ouidad gel for the past few month after giving up Deva curl's light hold gel. It has a nice consistency and hold and is a good replacement. Sometimes I combine it with their heavier hold gel if I feel like I need more hold.

    When hair is still damp, divide into 4-6 sections. Start with a nickel-size dollop of gel and use the Rake & Shake technique. Spread gel through the first section, with fingers separated like a rake. Rake fingers through under sections of hair first. Then, work downward from the crown to the ends and then rake from the temple and forehead to the crown. This ensures complete coverage and prevents under sections from stacking out once dry. Then holding the ends, shake hair back and forth to create curls. Repeat process using more gel as needed for each section. Let hair dry naturally or blow-dry on low heat with a diffuser.
