I purchased this 6 years ago and got great results. I ordered it again, but the packaging is awful: There are no seals... just a piece of tape across the lid.The elixir leaked around the rim. But worst of all: The conditioner is so thick it can't pass through the opening. Some of this is my fault. Someone I know recommended this product they used it after cancer treatments so I purchased it. I did not realize that these products had metal in them. I was using the shampoo for a few months and thought I wasn't getting the results I should. So I decided to commit to the program exactly as indented. The shampoo has no metals, but the Scalp Eluxir does. The Conditioner and Therapeutic treatment have ferment metals. I learned my lesson. I really like this product. It is just enough to hold style without hair feeling crispy and the look of some typical hair sprays. Hair still moves but hold is still there. I have purchased many Surface products and this is one of my favorites. However, I have had a problem with the last 2 of these. It seems that there is inadequate amount of propulsion within the 2ounce traveling size. My last container still had product left but it would not spray. This last container is even worse. It feels like it is at least half full but no longer will spray. I've tried hot water in case it was clogged but it just seems like there isn't anything within the container to make it spray. Is this common or have I just purchased defective containers? I liked it but with this being the second with this problem I am hesitant to purchase again. Any suggestions of what I can do? - .
