Shampooing is a routine like brushing your teeth or cutting your nails. Preparation: Comb residual styling products out of your hair.

The Amount: About half inch wide dollop of shampoo (about the size of a hazelnut should be enough for short to medium long hair. For long hair, adjust this amount accordingly. Distribute the shampoo through your hair.

Remember: Wet hair is very sensitive and you should therefore abstain from toweling or rubbing it dry. Instead, simply press a towel on your hair. The towel will absorb excess water without moving it back and forth and damaging your hair in the process.
